I’m new to indoor cycling, can I keep up?
We LOVE our first-time riders! We think you’re pretty awesome for trying something new and will make sure you know the ins and the outs so you feel like a pro after your very first class. No need to worry about keeping up. You are in control of the intensity 100% of the time and we will never put you on the spot. We always ride in a room that is lit only by black and colored lights and to the soft glow of our Himalayan salt lamps. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first class. We will give you a little tour of the studio and get you set up from the shoes to the bike fitting.
When should I arrive?
We operate on a “5 minute rule” meaning you need to be checked in for your ride at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time. If this is your first time here, please arrive 15 minutes prior to class. If you are not here 5 minutes prior to class start time we may give your seat away to a drop-in rider and you will forfeit your class. We do understand that life can be unpredictable and sometimes you will run a little late. If you are on your way please call the studio at 401-816-0404 and we would be more than happy to hold your seat. We ask that no one begin class 5 min after start time. No-shows will result in forfeiting your class via your MINDBODY account.
What should I wear?
Wear clothing that you are ready to sweat in! Tighter fitting work out clothes are usually best. Avoid loose fitting pants since its possible to get caught in the pedals.
Do I need cycling shoes?
Yes! Just like you wear your running shoes for running you wear your cycling shoes for cycling! Cycling shoes provide a more secure position on the pedals enabling you to work much more efficiently and produce more powerful pedal strokes. Bring your own cycling shoes (our pedals are SPD compatible) or rent in-studio for $3.
How do I sign up?
Start by making an account with our studio via MINDBODY. From your account you’ll easily be able to buy rides and book your classes. If you have any questions about making an account with MINDBODY email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need any help! Sign ups for classes are available online via MINDBODY up to an hour before a scheduled class. If you would like to still take a class and its past the hour, just drop on by or call the studio at 401-816-0404 to see if there's still room!
Do I need to make a reservation for class?
Since classes can fill up fast we do recommend that you always book online in advance to guarantee a bike. We do welcome drop-in riders, but keep in mind that classes may already be full. You can make a reservation online up to 14 days in advance. We do not accept unpaid reservations over the phone or in person. You must have a valid class or class package on your account in order to reserve a bike.
Can I cancel my reservation?
To cancel your reservation please do so via your MINDBODY account at least 5 hours prior to your scheduled class. If you cancel after the 5 hour window or “late cancel” you forfeit your ride. We do not offer refunds for missed classes. We cannot process reservation cancelations via our social media accounts or email.
What is your refund policy?
We have a no-refund policy.
Do you have changing rooms?
We don't have designated changing rooms but you are welcome to use our large bathroom to change in.
Do you have someplace to store my things during class?
Yes! We have cubbies in the hall that you’ll be able to keep your things in. We do suggest that you don't bring any valuables with you to class.
We hold a strict no cell phone policy in-studio. We offer cell phone charging in the lobby so your phone can plug-in while you un-plug!
I would like to rent the studio for an event, who do I contact?
If you have an event where you would like to rent the studio for a class please email Kayla at email@example.com for more information. We would love to work with you for a charity, birthday parties, corporate events, bachelorette parties etc. We are super flexible, fun and offer lots of options when planning your special ride!
